As a coffee lover, I’ve always dreamed of opening a stylish café that stands out from the rest. This dream has been brewing in my heart for over 10 years. I searched everywhere, from car parks to riverbanks, for the perfect location. Finally, a space at the swimming pool of Horizon Hills Clubhouse was offered to me. During COVID, I met Joe, my neighbor who quickly became a friend and golf buddy. We clicked immediately, and together we brought Hiltz Coffee to life.
The idea for Kurosaki Japanese Bistro and Restaurant came later. The clubhouse wanted to create a dining area that would meet the needs of club members and golfers. When the original bar’s contract ended, it provided the perfect space for our new venture. We quickly identified a head chef and built our kitchen and service teams. We designed the restaurant to be a warm and comfortable dining place for families, with every detail reflecting this theme.
The construction of Hiltz Coffee and Kurosaki was not without challenges. We had to work with limited resources during the pandemic. However, through good networks and the cooperation of our teams, we successfully completed the projects. Hiltz Coffee officially opened in December 2021, and Kurosaki followed in May 2022.
Hiltz and Kurosaki are the results of the relentless efforts of Joe and me. We believe in the spirit of survival and perseverance that these names represent. Our goal is to continue providing exceptional dining experiences to our community.
